What circus can do for you?

Circus skills have a great range of benefits to both children and adults alike.

Circus has an excellent social function in that it brings people together. It also allows people to achieve things that they probably never imagined they could, boosting their self-esteem.

Our favourite thing about circus workshops is watching people's eyes light up when they gain a new skill. Non competitive exercise allows participants to develop in a group and allow people to form respect for others within that group; people are treated as equals.

YardArts has seen, through experience, that these advantages give many people a wonderful boost of self esteem. As well as this, circus skills can improve fitness, while being fun and can help those with poor attention. Juggling and other skills such as poi require the user to stimulate both the right and left sides of their brain meaning they can improve their co-ordination.

Our workshops can be tailored to meet a range of needs.
